There is a requirement to have a clear span of 99' (no intermediate supports) for functionality purposes. In addition, x-bracing is not an option due to opening requirements. There is internal discussion...

I've been searching for a way to calculate the tension in a cable assuming catenary configuration due to two vertical point loads, each at the third point of the span.
I thought I analyze each point separately and treat that point as a tried analyzing it similar to method of joints. But...

Per AISC the thread length of a 3/4" A325 bolt is 1 3/8".
Several bolt manufacturers will customize thread lengths per the customers request. Is there anything that prohibits the customization of thread length for high strength bolts?

I have a ASTM A325 bolt. I have attached a picture for reference.
It's marking indicates it is a Type 3 bolt. But I see a letter G underneath. Has anyone seen this before or know what it means? References would be appreciated.
