My question was involving working on vessels that have no U-1 Form.
Is this the end of the world as we now know it?
I know there is a ton of them out there and was wondering what would somebody do in this situation? What we know now is... That they have name plates, and they weren't...

By the Original Code of Construction they ask for the edition/addenda in which it was built under.
Example, lets say... The vessel I'm working on was built in 1970...
How would I know what the Sec VIII current edition/addenda was at that time?
