power steering works great it just has developed leakage form the rack in the front. I talked to a gentleman that rebuilds hydraulic components and he said that the excessive pressure is causing fluid to pass by the seals on the rack cylinders.
everything works as should but we believe the priority valve is letting too much pressure to the steering valve which is in turn putting too much pressure to the steering rack. i was told that a pressure control valve or divider valve or something similar was what i needed. is this possible or...
I have converted my 1130 massey ferguson over to an open center system and i have discovered that i have too much pressure going to my powersteering rack. how can i reduce the pressure going into the steering valve?
the best thing is i work at a trash company and i already have most of the valves and pumps that i need just every thing i have is open center. all i really need is a small pump to operate the steering and brakes.
i have a massey ferguson tractor that has closed center hydraulics that i am converting to an open center system, i have an open center pump mounted and working but i know that it will not last long pushing the fluid through so many relief valves. would like to know if a power steering pump from...
