    Joining 2 pieces of Nickel Plated Stainless Steel together

    I have two parts... a magnet and a threaded base. They are both Nickel Plated Stainless Steel. I would like to connect them together. What would the best method be? Glue? Solder? By the way I am not an engineer I'm just asking the professionals.
