    flow through a orifice

Guys, Hope you can help me out with a calculation. I have a system with unstabilized crude. If there were a accidental release of hydrocarbons from this system, from a hole (for example 1 cm diameter), how can the flow through this hole be calculated? I know how to calculate the flow if this...

Hysys Model - two wells tie-in together

To elaborate on my advice: 2) you would need a well model with the production index, to determine the production reduction of the well based on increased back pressure. The well model can be included in Olga. 3) Olga is a better tool then Hysys to determine the cooldown effects on the...

    Hysys component flowrate

Morten, The method you described would be quicker, but I couldnt find a compressibility chart for the gasses on the web. Is it possible to get a compressibility chart from Hysys for a range of pressure/temperatures in a easy way?

    Hysys component flowrate

Thanks dcasto. I used a component splitter to extract N2 from the stream, and found the flow rate.

    Hysys component flowrate

Hi, This is my first post in this forum :) I am using Hysys, and want to know the flowrate (in boths actual and standard condition volumetric flowrate) of one specific component (nitrogen) in a stream. I already have the stream fully defined. Does anyone know how i can extract this data from...
