With due respect to my colleagues that think the two terms are identical, here is the real truth:
"Pressurized" means under pressure.
"Compressed" means a change (reduction) in volume DUE (normally) to pressurization.
That's the normal operating status of an open-center system. Pump delivers full flow at zero pressure because it just circulates through the valve back to the tank with no restriction.
