I am not able to view a detail view of a section I had previously created. The dimensions are visible but the part is not.
The part becomes visible when I select the shaded view, but the whole part shows up, not just the detail.
I have tried rebuilding Ctrl+Q and closing the part and opening...

I said "exact copy" to keep things simple. I do need to make changes to the copy in future. I guess I could use a config and change preferences so that the config name and not the part name pops up in the BOM and elsewhere in drawings.

Yet another way.
1. Select Note Icon.
2. Move your mouse cursor to the position where you want to place the note.
3. Hold down CTRL (but dont click yet). This will freeze the position of the note.
4. Without releasing CTRL, select multiple entities one by one
I am trying to create a copy of an in-context part in an assy. When I create the copy and bring in the copy into the assembly, the in-context features in the copy do not change appropriately.
I have tried to make it work in various ways (pack and go, save as copy, save as...) and it does not...
