    Epoxy vs Urethane for Bonding Aluminum

    polyurethane has great advantages, but it doesn't bond to everything unless you have maybe a primer. Epoxies have the tendency to crack from vibration. But it really depends on the environment.

    RTV - Waterproof

    to build bond for PVC - I would look into a primer containing Methylethylketone (MEK). MEK is the only solvent (with my experience) strong enough to degrade the PVC for a chemical bond.

    Do you have a data sheet on the epoxy? Also, have you looked into an epoxy primer?
