Thanks for your insightful suggestions. Does anyone have any suggestions for assembling an LVDT to measure the vibrations of the metal without touching it. The vibratons range between 0 to 5 kHz. the ampltiude shoulod be in the order of 1/10 of a millimeter. Thanks again.
HI I am hoping to use the same principle that metal detectors use to measure the vibration of a moving plate. However I am unable to find detailed enough books on their design. Could someone refer me to please?
I need some advice on how to design a measuring system for vibrations using inductive coils. I would like to ko=now what books to refer to and where I could source information
Hi,
I need to design a solenoid or some other magnetic coil so that I can pick-up vibtations from a metal plate. I know that the type of the metal, the size of the solenoid, the number of turns etc will affect performance but I don't know how. I would appreciate if anyone could direct me to...
Thanks I got a hold of a copy of the book. However, in chapter 3 of the 1982 edition, where they spoke about sequence voltage networks, they stated that Z + R is designed so that the I lags V by 60 deg. Why is this done and how does it lead to the filtering of the negative sequence voltage?
Hi
Could anyone refer me to a book or some other resource where I would find how elementry sequence filters can be used to measure negative sequence voltages and current. Thanks
