Autofill Filename Not Working - Convert to PDF

To both replies...DWG to PDF.pc3 does pick up the filename but I haven't been able to set up the output window quite yet, just not enough time to fiddle with it. Doro PDF did pick up the filename and tab name. Is there a way to disable the tab name? Thanks for the replies.

Autofill Filename Not Working - Convert to PDF

Previously used Autocad 2006. When saving to pdf, the filename would auto fill in the save box. Converted to Autocad LT 2019 and this does not occur. Have tried PDF Complete, Primo PDF and CutePDF. Seeme it is related to Autocad. If you have any advice I sure would be glad to hear it! Thanks.

    DEF & 304 Stainless Corrosion

Thanks for the reply. In the case where severe corrosion was observed was this the 32.5 urea/67.5% water mixture?

    DEF & 304 Stainless Corrosion

Diesel Exhaust Fluid - DEF (32.5% UREA and 67.5% water), PH 8-9. In the event there is iron embedment contamination in the 304SS from A36 particles, will the urea dissolve the iron and allow for the protective later of 304 SS to form? Or will the layer not be formed and pitting begin to take...

    Streamline Solution for Boxbuilding

Just wanted to check in on some of you geniuses - looking to take a metal box assembly and seamlessly create flat/bend patterns then extend this to nesting optimization, hopefully without having to output dxf's then manually import into nesting program. Any experience in this and a recommended...

316L, Delta Ferrite & Sigma Phase

At this point the original test was concluded to be invalid, at least the sigma phase theory, and fatigue failure the ultimate root cause.

316L, Delta Ferrite & Sigma Phase

Maui, thank you. That's great info to take in. Thanks to all again.

316L, Delta Ferrite & Sigma Phase

    Thanks. Very good information.

316L, Delta Ferrite & Sigma Phase

Thanks for your input. Certainly no conclusion here due to limited info, but input appreciated. We are at a metallurgical study difference of opinion at the moment. Go figure. =) Thanks again.

316L, Delta Ferrite & Sigma Phase

Yes, that's pretty much the issue. There is an issue with transporting a large mass attached to 10ga material, presumably causing fatigue/brittle failure due to vibration and cold working. However, it has been introduced that there is sigma phase formation due to extensive delta ferrite. All...

316L, Delta Ferrite & Sigma Phase

Doing a little investigation and claim upfront to not be an expert but looking for opinions: MIG welding 10ga 316L SS to 2" sch40 316L SS pipe, .045 316Lmetal core wire. Sheet chemistry below. Assuming there is not excessive delta ferrite present before welding, what is the likelihood that...

    rod failure

Yes, we've sent it off....just trying to get a head start on it. Here's a close-up. Would corrosion appear shiny? I've never viewed it this close.http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=9dd6dde3-2ec2-406b-8cec-088ab913f35c&file=DSC01650.JPG

    rod failure

OK all you metallurgical wizards....attached are the two mating halves of a rod that failed. One half has scale and the other is clean. The rod broke in transit and travelled under identical environmental conditions in the same carton. Material is 1045 steel that was nitrided, machined, then...

    templates and section view

Yep, great idea. Just RMB the sheet properties in a drawing. The upper right hand portion of the dialogue box will have a box for each of the detail and section view start label, which can be manually entered then saved back out to the template. Hope it helps.

    templates and section view

    well, nevermind! got it

    templates and section view

drawing templates were somehow saved with history of section B-B. now all new drawings start with section B-B. any idea how to get it to default back to A-A? Tried setting back to A then saving template, but it then defaults to section C. Thanks.

    Annotations

Not a bad solution for every once in awhile us, but not efficient as you stated. I noticed in MS word, recording macros with the highlight function gives up a module to use, but I have no idea if that could transfer over to SWX in any way. Heck, it doesn't transfer to Excel, so I suppose...

    Annotations

OK, you're doing good..keep going.[thumbsup2] That's about as far as I got as well. Interesting it won't go to black. I imagine there's a way, maybe deep within the dark regions of the code. I don't go there, though....too scary.

    Annotations

Howdy, Is there a way to highlight text in annotations? How about filling an annotation block with a color to distinguish the block from the background. This is in addition to using a colored box around the annotation....thanks!
