Copying from one dwg file to another?

What's happening is when you select copy using the copy command on the task bar or ctrl + c DS copies within the program to maintain scale. When you go to file "B" it pastes whatever was left on the clipboard. The right click command copies the highlighted item to the clipboard that's why it...

Copying from one dwg file to another?

I always highlight what I want to copy. Right click and select copy with reference point. Open the .dwg I want to copy to, right click select paste. Scale if needed

Natural gas vs Propane hp derate

Thanks guys, I never thought about it from that direction

Natural gas vs Propane hp derate

That was my thought too, but I've been having people that I have a lot of respect for tell me I have to derate

Natural gas vs Propane hp derate

I'm being told if you make a switch on a spark ignition engine from Ng to Lpg you need to hp derate. Same engine at stoich on both LPG and NG. This just seems counterintuitive to me but I've been wrong before. Thanks Frank

Lean Burn Generators for Hydrogen to Electricity Conversion

Why are you only using the 8.8L engine? There are several companies producing 8.0L and 10.3L GM engines for dry fuels. There are a ton of aftermarket intake manifolds for these engines that are designed for multipoint injection.

What is engine compression telling me?

Be careful using this type of additive. Part of there process is to use a bit of solvent in there mix to help it get "bite into the rings and bearings" This solvent can thin your oil with catastrophic effects. I know from trying the same experiment after a friend raved about the product. I drove...

US EPA stationary engine emission certification

franzh I understand the value of SWRI but in this application (Not the holy grail of engine controllers)I don't feel there worth the extra money.

US EPA stationary engine emission certification

Pat I have a AFR/Gov it will maintain fuel control authority across the BTU range. It does this by dithering the incoming fuel into the venturi mixer. It does have an ECM to control the fuel and spark. It has a three way cat with a stainless steel core and wash coat to help with extras in the...

US EPA stationary engine emission certification

I have a GM 454 based 150hp natural gas engine. I'd like to get emissions certified. I want to get this engine certified on wellhead gas with a BTU range of 900 to 1500. I'm trying to find an emissions lab that is familiar with this type of cert or a consultant who can help with the cert. Does...

Air Cooled VW and Modern Emissions

140airpower Beg to differ on cooling auto style engine in stationary applications. It becomes a matter of how much heat rejection the radiator has at a given forced airflow. This forced airflow can be zero if there is enough heat rejection in the radiator.

    natural compressed gas

ZDAS Without further understanding the complete fuel system it's hard to speculate on the reason for the lack of power. If I had to guess the conversion was the old style with a mixer mounted to the throttlebody. I would guess if it a good conversion with a dual ECM and NG injectors you wouldn't...

    Another Bore vs Stroke question

I always had the understanding you use as long stroke as possible at low rpm to maintain a longer piston dwell at TDC. This aids in complete compustion to increase combustion pressure and at 90degrees it increases the lever effect on the crank.

    Ulimate soldering machine

I've did work on both pick and place and thru hole machines for several years. At the quantities you specify and your apparent level of knowledge. You would be better served just contracting out the PCB board assembly.

    Hydraulic roller lifter failure

Guy's I haven't been answering questions because I've been deep into a different project and this has taken a backseat. I will try to answer the questions you have. Dicer These are existing blocks so we have to use retro fit kits on the lifters there is no OEM lifter. It seems for a standard...

    Hydraulic roller lifter failure

BCS Without getting to far off topic. Are you getting new GM industrial engines or rebuilt? How many hours are getting on heads? Have you set any of the 8.0L or 10.3 gm engines yet? Sorry for the questions. I've spent the past 4 years selling new GM industrial engines and I'm curious. Thanks

    Hydraulic roller lifter failure

Thanks for all of the responses. I'll try to answer all of the questions. FoMoCoMoFo Oil pressure does stay 50psi+. We are working on a spray bar or something like that to spray the rollers. I was not involved in the cam selection process. What I have found interesting is the overall HP of the...
