    Turning off Thin Feature in order to extrude

    It seems like the straight edge is not being recognized when I try and extrude, even though I am selecting it. Is it possible that there is more than one line hidden under each other, so that I am selecting the "wrong" line?

    Here is the file I am trying to work. I am following a DVD instructional, and I am trying to do what he does, but it isn't working. I have done it before, but this time, no dice. I don't see the "Close Sketch" icon, I am selecting the two splines and the line connecting the two...

    I am trying to extrude, and the "Thin Feature" is permanently on. I don't want it, and I can't find out how to open the Extrude Property Manager to adjust my settings. Any ideas? Thanks! Steve
