Looking at the DGA Results I believe you have stray gassing of oil at <200 Deg C. due to partial discharging. There is a high level of CO2 from high level of paper decomposition. Further investigation is strongly recommended.
Hi
Check the resistance of the Primary fuses. They all should be about the same. If one is high you will get a low voltage reading on the secondary side side. This will happen if you have a very high impedance load (like a meter). Another way to find a high resistance fuse is to measure the...
The info you are getting on this site is right on with your problem. The next step I would do is infered scan your system, with a motor load on it. Scan everything motors, switchgear, transformers, cable connections, enclosed and overhead. Look for hot spots that will give you a voltage drop...

Could you please explain using unconventional connections externally on both sides of the transformer. How a Dyn1 transforemer can be changed to either a Dyn3,Dyn5, Dyn7, Dyn9, or Dyn11 transformer.
I thank you in advance for your replies.

You are absolutly right. I just put it out there to see what responce I would get. Reading the posts about near compacity tranf and starting generators. Didn't give me a warm comfortable feeling. I would have to know more about the plant system. I have a feeling that this is and old...
old rule of thum of mine is to correct power factor at the sorce of low power factor. Check your motors for low pf. On low pf motors, add a power capacitor to correct the pf. Tie cap and motor together after starter. Will not work with vfd starters. This small measure will reap large benefits...
yes scotty this is what i was looking for. I am looking at a cordination study that uses i2t curves. looking at the curves, settings, and test points, something is wrong. Back to the old slide rule. Thanks again for the help.
