Agree - I came to that conclusion also, but kept this open hoping to learn something. Its really just a collection of 10 or so un-corrupted subassemblies mated together, maybe 2 hours of work to recreate or 2 hours of improvements since the last good backup save under a different name.

Hmm. Company confirmed that they won't pay a stand alone per diem, that it has to be baked into the hourly rate. Their reason being that prior to finding their way to me they had only been looking for and hiring engineers that were local to the project.

Recycling code may / may not be on the exterior, but is easy to find and will quickly lead you to the general material category. In your case though, your material may be more likely to be dictated by your manufacturing method.
