AASHTO manual gives values of horizontal seismic coefficient in the form of a map.
IBC specifies Spectral Response Acceleration Coefficients (Ss and S1) for a given project area.
Is there any correlation between the two.
Need some inputs to determine horizontal seismic coefficient (used in the design of segmental retaining wall ) based on spectral response acceleration coefficients given in IBC. Any lead is appreciated.
