    A350 Flanges for Valves

    Hi all. I have a question about A350 standard for flanges. Is it possible to obtain a flanged valve by machining a forged round bar? This because A350 standard (par.4.3.3) tells that just flanges could not be obtained in this way. Thanks for your answers.

    Hy everybody. Which values of mechanical factor do i have to take in consideration in the ASME B31.3 formula for pressure design of straight pipe? I didn't find any table or reference in that code. Is there any other ASME code to take in consideration for the mechanical/corrosion factor? Thanks...
