Thanks for the reply, yes the valve is under pressure it is filled with 10.4 bar of helium. So gromits and the like are out of the question, I am performing a seat leak test as well as a futuretive emmissions test.

I am a recent graduate in my first job. Currently working on a crygenic test of a valve.
I'm trying to find a method of measuring the temperature of the inside of the valve, whilst it is emersed in a tank of liguid nitrogen. Is this possible?
Any help/ideas you can give me would be...
