Measuring RPM of a small motor

If it's a commutated motor, we have two products that measure motor speed from commutation current. The first product is older technology, model CRSM1, but we have a new, not-yet-announced product that can track motor speed well enough to allow it to do time-domain averaging of vibration caused...

Bradrs: Sorry - was thinking of the HC811's that we're phasing out of our products... apologies...

    Vibration time measurements

We've been involved with several DSP-based data acquisition systems for automotive applications over the past few months. Could you provide more information about your application. Do you want to log data and then evaluate on a PC, real-time. Accuracy requirements ?? Feel free to contact me...

There is microcontroller for 2 inputs edge capture ?

The Motorola 68HC11, DSP56800, DSP56300 series processors will all do what you need (assuming I understand your requirements correctly).

    68hc11

You may wish to look at Motorola's DSP56800 series processors. For 1/3 of the price of an HC11, you can easily get 10 times the performance, better A/D's and better peripheral selection.

    sound generator

I think you need to know about the temporal characteristics of the sound as well as the spectral. You can have the same 1/3 octave spectrum but sound very different. Your ability to simulate the sound profile will depend greatly on how well it is defined. You could easily filter white noise...

    Hearing spectrum for seaguls

I once had a co-op student look up this exact problem, but it was for birds in fruit trees. Apparently, their hearing spectrum is not as wide as human hearing... You could possibly do what they do in some orchards, producing a loud impact noise periodically (like a gunshot).. as long as you...

    Small signal conditioner for accelerometer

Are you looking for signal conditioning only, or signal conditioning with a transducer?
