    Do we absolutely need a concrete base for poles/towers?

    I've done some research on a screw pile, and it looks like a fantastic alternative to concrete foundations. It also fulfills the criteria of fast and easy installation, as well as having minimal work area. I'll be bringing this idea up with my boss. Thanks for all the replies.
