Thank you for your quick reply! I'm afraid that my problem is still not solved. What I actually need is that MathCad recognizes $ or € as a unit so that I can calculate with it: example cost := 100 $/kW power := 5 kW result := cost * power result = 500 $ When I type the unit in the way you...- eldar40k

I want to create a monetary Unit like $ to assign it to a value, say 100 $/kW for example. How can I do that in MathCad 11 (2001)? Thank you very much!!- eldar40k
