Even tho Solidworks has come a long ways in several years... the workforce has invested in Pro/E already... Design engine only owns one seat of SW and invest ourselves and our training in Pro/ENGINEER because that seams where the jobs are. plus if you know Pro/E it's easier to learn...
In Pro/ENGINEER you can use Pro/PHOTORENDER or ISDX to trace around a sketch. ISDX is the preferred method.

What software have you used for Process ID software have you used ... explored? Pro/PROCESS and I RSD can both be used to aid Process engineers. "How might you use those tools in your job?"...

I saw one major manufacture (cellphones) lay off all the managers that did not know Pro/ENGINEER. That was the last recession 2002 or so.

If you know Pro/ENGINEER rates range from 40 to 50 per hour.
If you can specialize in something and make your self in even more demand like Cabling or surfacing rates can go has high as 80 per hour.

There are new tools inside the iges redifine functions since wilfire1.0 as well. you can re-create curves and surfaces too. Since WF1.0 there was added a wealth of tools all inside the 'edit definition' functions.
