Is it advisable to put MCB in the circuit between the PT and RYB indicators in the MV switch gear.In case the MCB trips it will give a false indication that the incomer voltage is not present
I am having a situvation where the PCC panel connected to the transformer secondary (up stream)is having a passive filter and a Motor control centre connected to PCC ( down stream ) having a capacitor bank.
Do we need both passive filter and capacitor banks in a installation.
We want to operate a DG set with AMF so that it will automatically start and connect to load. but local restrictions call to have mechanical interlock between the incoming breakers of DG and main power. Can we use Bowden cable in this case for interlock. will it work in Auto mode with Bowden cable.
I have a situvation where my load is 17.5 kw and is fixed to a motor 22 kw ( since 18.5 kw not readily available) can i run the system with existing 18.5kw VFD.
I have a installation designed with a duty standby transformer .in case of failure of duty transformer the standby one will take the full load. normaly standby will have no load connected.
I wonder will it be better to load both transformer 50% and incase of failure of one transformer,the other...
