If I understand correctly, you have a rod that is only threaded at each end and you want to fix a nut to one end so it functions like a bolt instead of a threaded stud.
I would also try the proper Loctite and primer/activator first, but what about castellated nuts...
I agree with Brian, a proper gearbox and motor is the way to go. Stepper, servo, or if close enough is ok, an induction motor with VFD or even a DC motor may work. Hydraulics tend to not work the same way hot as they do cold, internal leakage in the pump and motor will change with temperature...
There is no neutral conductor going to the hot tub panel so it is not able to supply 120V circuits. You are connecting the hot tub panel ground through the neutral conductor of the GFCI which is also wrong. The combination of poor grounding at the meter, the ground rod at the shed, and the...
It could be something in those boots causing corrosion. Try a different boot material/brand, if you can't find something else to replace it, the Penetrox or No-Alox may be enough to stop the corrosion.
To add to itsmoked's list:
5) Bolt too long, not fully threaded, or washers missing, which...
[deadhorse]"Ground" is not the same thing as "Neutral".
Delta, open delta, wye, floating neutral, resistance grounded neutral, solidly or grounded neutral are chosen based on load requirements and how you want it to fail when something goes wrong.
You need every metal surface grounded to protect...
Maybe they are trying to use the parity bit as a 9th bit to flag "This byte is the target address, all others are data". See if there is a setting in the host OS or virtualization software to forward the parity bit without corrections.
I made a few special seals using acetal for the mold and a 2 part silicone with good results. Didn't measure it post bake, but it seemed like a perfect fit.
Thanks, metengr's link was close, but there was a better match to my situation Link
Roark's Formulas for Stress and Strain would work as well for just about any situation, adding to my collection.
I am looking for a formula to determine max deflection and stress of a plate (round or square) that is simply supported in the center (round support) and a uniform load over the whole surface. Can anyone point me to a good example?
Thanks.
I am using Ubuntu 14.04 English (US) setting and Wine (XP mode) and just followed the directions. Following the instructions worked for me. Some fonts will not display the Ω symbol properly, Courier doesn't work, but Courier New, Arial, and Arial Unicode MS do work. When switching to TrueType...
Copied this from page 25 of [Link www.diptrace.com/books/tutorial.pdf]www.diptrace.com/books/tutorial.pdf[/url]
Now we will add resistance values "10kΩ " for all resistors on this schematic. Since "Ω " is a Unicode
character, it doesn't work in vector fonts, which are set by default in...
As the fuel ages, it tends to destroy the hoses and seals, E10 or not. Use this Link to stabilize fuels for up to 2 years. Other brands may work just as well, but this is the only thing I have ever used. I use it in all seasonal equipment and small generators.
