    Tolga11, A TSV (thermal relief) is used primarily in liquid situations where the temperature is highly variable. The TSV allows for some some volumetric expansion by bleeding off a little liquid if the vessel/pipe becomes too hot. A PSV is usually a gas device. Sorry must run - funeral
