Can anyone assist me in locating a bearing supplier of PTFE mecahnically bonded to perforated stainless steel. We currently use EPI hyload-77 bearings, but these will become unavailable shortly. Need bearings with same or better performance in Valves.

My Company has been using Autodesk for a number of years. A handful of us are using Mechanical Desktop 2005 and the rest use ACAD 2D 2005. Since MDT is fading away, we are undecided whether or/not to pursue training in Inventor or some other 3D Package (at a lower cost/seat). We have a large...

    Pneumatic Solenoid Valves

Closing time for the solenoid only was not recorded, just the overall time when the solenoid was energized. We eliminated the issue by using a quick exhaust. That was using a brass Asco Solenoid Valve. Our customer has changed requirements to a S/S which is not offered in the same design as the...

    Pneumatic Solenoid Valves

A test was performed on the Valve/Actuator assembly only and closing time was under 2 secs. This confirmed that (1) no moisture was enter the system and (2) the Valve/Actuator was capable of cycling shut in the required time.

    PTFE Seat Ball valve problems

Daveb9, Sounds like the seat ID is smaller than the Ball ID. During closing the ball catches the seat lip and plastically deforms it. I have experience with liguid nitrogen seat designs and have seen seats react in this manner due to shrinkage at low temps (-320F). Excessive assembly forces can...
