Why, when modelling a relatively small catchment (2Ha) with an equally short time of concentration (12 mins) does the runoff hydrograph indicate that outflow continues to the 24 hour mark i.e. approx 12 hours after the peak. The regulations do not prescribe the method to be used. The local authority did note that Hydrocad offers the option of checking using the Rational Method, and they recommend that I establish the critical storm for this particular catchment and pond configuration to confirm the results...- PJC69
