    If i know the overall acceleration to be 0.3 g, displayed on an analyzer for a frequency range of 10 Hz to 10 kHz. For a shaft rotating at a speed of 2700 rpm, how do i calculate the overall velocity(rms)mm/s. thanks in advance. .....kashyap

    An accelerometer is fit on the bearing housing at an angle of 45 deg to the horizontal plane, and measures an acceleration of 0.3g(rms). How can i calculate the values in horiz. and vertical planes? Further, is there any advantage in mounting the accelerometer in an inclined plane (45deg)?

I do know that this is related to resonance, but that would mean, the frequency of excited vibration(due to earth-quake) matches with the natural frequency of glass window.
