Hi Folks, A subsea well that has been shut in for 3 months has suddenly dropped it's annulus pressure from 60bar to 10bar. Other than a leak or pressure transmitter issue, would anything else contribute to this?

Could it also be that the valves to the downstream cooler have closed thus trapping the heat? Like you said the heat transfer would take a while.

Why do you think the discharge temperature of a gas compressor remains high after the machine has tripped?

A long one i'm afraid... I'm trying to inject corrosion inhibitor downhole to each subsea well. The downhole pressure of where i'm injecting to is 60bar u/s of a ESP pump. I have a pump topsides where the chemical is distributed to a subsea flow distribution panel to inject to individual wells...

The 2" NRV is located at the discarge side of the pipe(10 bar) to a 2" offtake pipe to the 12" main line.

This is a microbial biostud unit with 1/2" piping from a 12" produced water line. The inlet pressure is 12 bar, and the discharge is 10 bar. The flow meter d/s of the sidestream shows 2L/min at 12 bar. When you open the drain line on the outlet side of the unit which is fed into the 10bar line...
