Any Thoughts on Tool Works BOM Manager?

Is there any security risk in giving them the info they require for the 30 day trial? (they ask for SW serial #)

Looking for material porperties on AR-200?

TVP, you hit the problem on the head. AR200 designates Brinell Hardness # of 200. So how does that affect my k and n values? They both should be higher should they not? I dont have the capabilities of running a strength test on material?

Looking for material porperties on AR-200?

Ha! I just noticed I spelt the title wrong...sorry So if the K and the n are both experimentally determined how can I find them? I have yet to see AR200 in any lists for k and n values. Maybe im way off the mark on this one and you can calculate them somehow. ??? -Jason

Looking for material porperties on AR-200?

Is the K in Sigma = ke^n the same as the K for bulk modulus?

Looking for material porperties on AR-200?

Thanks for the tip, However, I dont think Strength is Ultimate Tensile Strength as there is a UTS parameter. I do think that strength would be the fracture point assuming constant volume in the yield section of the curve. Im still trying to figure out how to get this true strength as well as...

Looking for material porperties on AR-200?

Actually while im here one more question: We just got a new accupress press brake and I am just adding all the materials we use to its software. There are a few parameters that I am unclear about. Perhaps you could enlighten me. The program asks for the following(with no units) along with the...

Looking for material porperties on AR-200?

I have a mill run in my hand for AR-200 sheet metal but I need a few more paramters then what is on the mill run. I cant find AR200 on matweb so I assume it is just a common trade name. Can anyone offer me an actual code for this product? Thanks a bunch.

    Looking for Excel BOM tutorial

Well I find the solidworks version very limiting plus engineering are the only ones that can read it. I would like to make a series of excel pages that sort the information in different ways for different people as well as interact with other spread sheets. So for purchasing I want the spread...

    2 monitor preformace issue

We ran 2 monitors on pro E then when we switched over to solid works our video car was good enough to run two monitors but as soon as you brought two screens of solid works up (or bridged one over both) it would just white screen. So vid card quality does make a difference.

    "Size" in Custom property

Thanks for the replys guys. Im going to give the parts templates a try, it will get the job done but will require to think about the manufacturing process and material before hand which may be a pain. Im going to make a template for sheet metal, HSS, Pipe, and round bar and put the specific...

    "Size" in Custom property

No, the size is just displayed on the drawing for the guys on the shop floor. I want the "size properties" (just a text string) to be driven by three manually entered dimension. The problem I have now is that I just want to run the scheduler and have it put in all my custom properties then go...

24' 12GA sheet metal handeling Woes

I looked into what was the actual standard and I was right in "that Anver Corporation designs and builds vacuum lifters in strict conformance with ANSI/ASME SPECIFICATIONS B30.20 "Below The Hook Lifting Devices." Within those specifications it is stated that the loads must be "clean and free...

24' 12GA sheet metal handeling Woes

Our company has recently purchased a new 20' acupressure 750ton break and we are having problems with the material handling aspect of moving light gauge (12ga) sheets around. The largest sheet we will move is 24'x8'. We get the sheets delivered on four 4"x4" blocks and so when our fork lift...
