We had many years experience with a Premium Brand unit until our company was spun off and our access to the network, software and data were abruptly cut off. We recently had a demonstration from Comtest who offered lease as well as upgrade to online monitoring units. The initial start-up looks...
Omar12,
The standard is part of the problem...we have several folks that read it as their job specific requirement and they are the ones stating they are confined space...even though the outside contractor says he does not do this for any other client.
Thanks for your feed back. At least we...
Giving more details (type of corrosion you see and location(s), vessel located outside? is it insulated? near coast of salt air?, temp & press of process, vessel, exchanger, fin tubes, etc) would assist a reply here...
If your aluminum is in contact with SS then you have galvanic corrosion...
Rudi,
Related...yes, sterilization in place covers it...
Steam sterilization vs a cleaning agent sterilization..it depends on your process needs/design. If you are still looking for more centrifuge info try posting on the Pharmaceutical engineering forum under Chemical engineering. Your food...
Cablepro,
Thanks for your response. I am concerned that formal writing may bring a visit that with my limited experience in this arena could lead to a situation issue (not there are "sleeping dogs" but I have no experience here). Our site safety personnel want this issue documented...
Big Thanks! joerd
XLstart was the key--that is exactly what I wanted!

I simply want My company's Excel 97 default workbook template to have the gridlines checked; our IS dept does not know how to set default to gridlines on; when I go to file/new/workbook template and check the gridlines on it does not retain it--does one need adminstrative rights?

Confined space has many things to consider, however, when changing the filter on large HVAC units or other small maintenance items the concept of this being a confined space for emergency rescue coverage seems to be overkill. Especially when there is a door on both sides of the unit or the arms...
Thanks for the ideas.
We went to the pump and found that the impeller was warn...very warn even two months ago. So, what did we learn? The reason it worked the last time we operated this portion of the process was that the solvent was new, viscosity like water; now, with viscosity much...
Puzzled.
We have a durco centrifugal pump that keeps tripping on high amps (37 vs designed at 22)... (20 hp, 192 tdh, 3600 rpm, the pumped solvent fluid viscosity is sometimes that of water but today it was "syrupy" and cooled). There have historically been problems with NPSH--however...
