1.) shop documentation
2.) export tool library to asc11 datafile
3.) this should have output a file called tool_database.dat.
You can either rename the original tooldatabase.dat file and put the new one into the folder c:\program files\ugs\nx 4.0\mach\resource\library\tool\english (for inch)...
THIS IS WHAT EDS SAID TO DO - WORKS GREAT
--------------------
1 - Preferences --> Visualization --> Color Palette
2 - Edit Background color
3 - Select Black
4 - OK
5 - Save CDF as...
6 - File --> Utilities --> Customer Defaults
7 - Gateway -- Visualization --> Color Palette
8 - Windows -->...
I'VE DONE ALL THAT- - IT DOESN'T CHANGE WHEN I OPEN A NEW PART FILE. I DID CALL EDS SUPPORT TODAY AND THEY HAD SAME PROBLEM. THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO GET BACK WITH ME TOMARROW
YOU CAN SEND ME YOUR PART FILE AND I'LL POST IT AND SEND THE FILE BACK TO YOU FOR YOU TO REVIEW. AND IF THAT IS WHAT YOU LOOKING FOR I,LL SEND YOU MY POST SO YOU CAN COMPARE IT TO YOURS.
