HI there, I have an old production drawing and on it the material specifcation calls for TL-4223. This is a German drawing from 1987. does anybody have any idea as to what grade steel this would be today?

Hi thanks for all your help on this but unfortunatly due to budget restraints we are unable to use the Dupont material.
At the moment we are considering some other materials and are trying to find alternatives to te CR6100 series.
Ian how did the molydisulfide copper filled ptfe compare...
HI thanks very much for the insight into the VESPEL CR6100 after doing a search for it Google came up with some very enlighting information. This seems particualrly suited to enviroment we will subject it to.
