It's a long time since i've used V5 but there is a command in the tools that appeared sometime around release 11 which is to extract model from sequential batch. Hope that helps.

Does anybody know what the Area and TNG INT parameter does on a Surf2 CRV-CRV? It's really buging me as i can't work out why anybody would use then as i get really strange resutls from messing with them, but it must just be me using them wrong. Thanks in advance. Darren

In Catia V4 under Curve 2 Connect, what exactley does it mean when you highlight the crosshairs at the ends of the connecting curve. I was told that it made it tangential, but not highlighting the cross it's still tengential. Any Idea's?

That doesn't sound to promising! I hate to say this, but, have you condsidered trying to re-install Windows? I had to re-install for a friends ACER Laptop but only to change to NTFS file system from FAT32. Also if you look on your screen saver menu go to 3d maze(open gl) and see if that works.

We have set up a floating license so Catia can run around site. We have it on some very low spec machines (SIS onboard graphics / Intel onboard graphics, ATI and Nvida), we have never had a problem. It sounds like the graphics drivers may not be installed, I'm not sure but windows by default...

Normally through Autoweb we tar up the .product with related .parts (if you send the .product on its own it will not mean anything at the other end). Generally speaking tar and gz the files before sending (I'm assuming you sending to / from Ford (or PAG). I have sent zip files before though...

Why try to limit Boolean opertions? Surly using boolean features stabilises the model when modifying.
