How can the web browser be automatically minimized upon the startup of a new session of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire?
Select "Tools", "Customize Screen", select the "Browser" tab, and uncheck "Expand Browser by default"...
This tip is PERFECT for those people that HATE having that useless brower...

Can you copy the browser web favorites of WildFIRE around to other systems?... (Perhaps for initial installations)...
You can find it in your "Documents and Settings" folder...
Copy web_favorites.xml from C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application...
Build M01 sure seemed to work well... but it ALSO has that instance issue... in fact... once I did the upgrade to it.. Instances that beloged to generics that had been renamed no longer saw the generic!!! The Horror as generics were verified and could not be saved due to the "same name...
Well... every one should know by now how to sort your columns in Pro/Intralink... by using the Table Disply... and you can left click on a column to sort by that column...

True... I guess the point is... once installed... Start up Wildfire and it will imediatly ask you to log into Intralink... thereby starting them both at the same time...
Ummm... I'm not sure I understand... It works JUST like it used to with 3.0 - 3.2 and Pro/E 2001... with the added availabity to see Intralink from what was the "Model Tree"...
Install Intralink first... (suprisingly important most times)...

If you can not run the DSMU correctly while connected... well... you have to change a taskmanager setting before logging in!...
Start the DSMU (aka proimgr.bat)... (start it and leave it running)...
Go to the Taskmanager...
Find the Task listed as...
Oh man... do you need to switch up to Wildfire... There is a new function in there that allows for multiple lengths of a part... Springs are good examples... but I could see it's use for other things, like cylinders...
Wildfire allows you to set a dimension to different lengths of a single part...

Well... You COULD go through the effort of changing the properties in Explorer... and add a summery to the file... but this is tedious and needs to be done manually every time...

Try using "instance_search_exhaustive" set to "yes" in your config.pro... I believe this will let you see the instances for the generics... you could then pick the exact instance you wanted to assemble... NOTE that the instance does still have to be in your workspace!!!
Up to, and includeing, Intralink 3.2... you have to open the generic into Pro/Engineer to change ANY parameters (attributes)... then you MUST verify all the instances before saving, for the changes to reflect inside of Intralink... Once you have done this... the parameters will be used inside of...
