It's been quite a few years since I've worked on extruders, but I don't
think aluminum would survive the cleaning process when things go wrong,
like a loss of power.
I'm retired now, but were I used to work, Drawings were needed for every
part and operation eg. grinding, plating, heat treat, even raw material.
Drawings were considered legal documents, also needed for engineering changes etc.

I'm retired now, but 30 some years ago I was an AWS (American Welding Society) CWI (Certified Welding Inspector),
and there was no Butt Weld, it was a Butt Joint with a Groove Weld. Unless something has changed.

Depends on the size of your panels, the 3mm with shop air is at the max of this laser,
but the price and quality is affordable.
