    npn to pnp conversion

    I'm trying to use a sensor that has sourcing output but needs to be sinking. I know that I can use a mechnical rely to solve this problem but I've been told that I can place a resistor on the load side and take care of this?????Hopefully I do not have to change the sensor. Any solutions?
