3RD ANGLE PROJ instead on 1ST ANGLE PROJ

Hello all, I have a problem with changing the 1ST ANGLE PROJ (current) to 3RD ANGLE PROJ because I have to make the drawings. I can't find the suitable option which could allow me to change. Maybe someone knows how it would be possible? Thanks in advance Gregor

Material of the CV Boots nitryle or chloroplene

GrahamBennett, thanks for the answer. You are absolutely right with the low temp performance - I've just checked it in the table. But I am curious if it is the only (together with the cost) parameter which allow using CR instead of nitryle rubber.

Material of the CV Boots nitryle or chloroplene

I wonder why in car industries material for CV Boots was changed from nitryle to chloroprene rubber. Would you like to give me the answer? Thanks in advance Gregor

Low Torque Bushings (high radial load and low torque movement)

Hello Everyone, I have a problem with solution based of suspension bushing (rubber to metal; or rubber to plastic one) with requirement of high resistance against radial force (about 4,35kN) and very low torsional stiffness - or even slipping (I have to achieve torsional movement as low as...

    Copy part

Hello, I'm just started working with CATIA 5.14 (early it was CATIA 4.2.4). And I have a problem with copying the parts. How can I copy the part and avoid the association with the first one. I mean that when I change the parameters for the "oryginal" it shouldn't change the copied part. Thanks...

    Design position

Thanks GregLocock, You are right - I have found the same in the internet. Do you know some books or web sites where I can find some more information about stabilizer bars (and mountings). I am resposible for the rubber to metal mountings for them now and frankly speaking the kinematics and...

    Design position

Hello All! I have to compute the angles for the conical and torsional work of metal-rubber ends for the stabilizer link. I have a sketch witm the position of REB position MEJ and MTM position and Design Position. I have a problem with Design Position only because I don't know about initial...

    Stabilizer bar

Hello All, I am working on rubber bushing of stabilizer bar. It's for car suspension. The radial stiffeness should be 4kN/mm (+/- 15%), torsional 1 to 1.5 Nm/deg and conical < 1.5 Nm/deg. Greg - you have told above that the there no conical deflection: "GregLocock (Automotive) 15 Dec 05...

    Lamping force and Fastner Torque

Thanks all for replay. Unfortunately I can't measure it experimentaly (because for now on I haven't steel sleeve - I have to find the proper one which after test reduce lenght 0,15 mm permanent (plastic). The lenght of the sleeve is 75/-0.2 mm. I solve that when I use torque 172Nm - the...

    Lamping force and Fastner Torque

Hello, I have a problem with solving the clamping force (compressed tube between two plates and a screw M14) after 172Nm fastner torque + 90 deg. It's easy to find the clamping force before twisting 90deg. After 172Nm achive we control only lenght instead fo torque (1/4 of pitch thread if it is...
