Acid Corrosion Inhibitors
Can anyone explain in laymans terms how corrosion inhibitors work in acid pickling processes? Why does mill scale dissolve while the non-oxide base metal is not affected?- muth

Calcium Fluoride scale
We are trying to dissolve calcium fluoride scale in a pvc pipeline with hydrochloric acid and it is a very slow process.
