    Maybe wrong place but WPS ?

    So we use a prequalified WPS for fillet welds. But the maximum size for prequalify is 5/16 (possibly 3/8") if my understanding is right. Welders are qualified 2G 1" plate so they're qualified to weld fillets 1/8" to unlimited. Back to WPS. Would have to do an additional plate test for WPS...
