Pressure vessel cooling jacket out of service.
@RVAmeche, Sort of. The vessel has a national board number. The Jacket has a MAWP of 45 psi, and the Drum has a MAWP of Atmospheric. We have taken the Jacket out of service, but we are still using the drum. I am wondering if I still need to treat the vessel as a pressure vessel as we have...- blue_dinosaur

Pressure vessel cooling jacket out of service.
We have a coded pressure vessel onsite that is considered a pressure vessel because its cooling jacket is pressurized to 45 psi. The inner contents are at atmospheric pressure. We have taken its cooling jacket out of service, and we are now only using it as an atmospheric vessel. Is this...- blue_dinosaur
