I was trying to siumulated the Photoluminecence peak of some laser qunatum wells based on the compositions and I was not getting anywhere? Is there anybody who have done some simulation or knows about the simulation programs.
Any idea will be welcome
Thanks
I have a couple of AFM images of Quantum DOTs and need to process them. Here is the idea? I have the JPG or TIFF file with some dot on the image and can transfer it to gray scale and make a threshhold and then count the number of dots and the Ic an find the density. I also need to find the...
I am trying to desing some hetrostructur laser with InGaAs on InP substrate. I am novice and tryng to find the lattice constant, doping and thickness of the layers however with in these recent days I was not very successful. Is there anybody who have done this before and designing the solid...

I just want to design simple diode mask and very simple features on that in the first step. We haev the diode mask in the lab but i want to modify it. I can use the Autocad but I want to know more about the design and layout of standard laboratory mask. If it work I will go for trasistros?

thank you for the comment.
Two question left for me?
1- what is the appropraite softwarecompatible with GDSII
2- where can i get appropriate sources regarding mask design?
I remain
I would like to know about the mask design and software used for designing the mask. At the moment we are using diode mask the simplest mask possible with the back side electrode. I need to redesign the mask and provide the design for fabrication. I would appreciate if any body have any...
My procedure is what you told me but his procedure is that he devides the space in y-axis from 0 to 100 with the same distance. So all the data in the y direction have the same distance from each other. if you take a look at post.doc and post1 ( post1.doc is his graph and post.doc is my graph...
It seems he has his own procedure that I have mentioned and I have added his graph also for reference. I would like too know your comments also.
thank you in advance.
The question is that I want a professional clue for him. i am not good at statistics and probability that i hy i am asking to make sure whther his idea can be a method or he is totally wrong.
We have the argument he claims that his graph is write. but I have shown him the procedure you told me. but he claim thta is another way to draw this graph i want to know if it could be a proper graph or not
I have another question. I had an argue with my colleague. He has a rediculus idea. He claims that I should draw the graph with the same distance between the data. for example i should check the no of data and divide the space between them so the distance between the data and 0 and 100 from the...
I appreciate again. It somewhat makes sense I am still searching the web and fnding information but our guideline was incredeibaly nice and helpful.
I will be back with the result later probably.

I processed the data in excel but moved them to Origin and then then drew the graph. I would appreciate fi you take alook and tell me wether it is right or not.

thnaks in advance.
I really appreciate you reply it was reallly helpful I spend 2-3 hours to find out and manage but 2 question
1- How can I interperet?
2- I want to email the graph online for you to see how I can do that.
regards.
I appreciate you reply, but I am still confused as I do not know the mu or alpha. how can I calculate it and how can I draw a graph for these 15 data, I need a graph with y axis for cumultive probbility (%) and x-axis for the data.
Thank you in advance.
