Cantilever Vertical Component of Earthquake UBC
Hello. It says in UBC code that horizontal cantilever components shall be designed for a net Upward force of 0.7CaIWp, does this mean that I should replace the value of Ev = 0.5CaID with the 0.7CaIWp at upward direction? Does this also apply for the reversal of loads? If so, should Downward...- ce.agp_03
