Dear Zul78289, is there any best practice for reviewing the safest displacement distance for Dx,Dy,Dz,Rx,Ry,Rz so we can ensure that the value of displacement is safe? skid edge allowable load
Just double click "FORCES/MOMENTS" tab at the node, where you wish to apply force/moments, and enter the values with signs. Moreover, you also need to edit load cases, by adding "F1". For example: L1 W+T1+P1 (OPE) L2 W+P1 (SUS) L3 W+T1+P1+F1 (OPE+FORCE) L4 L3-L1 (PURE FORCE)...- sjkji

can I active and deactive seismic load in one CAESAR II file?
Yes, it can be deactivated, in a similar fashion as it is activated. Just go to your desired node (from where, you don't need seismic affect),double click "Uniform loads" options, and replace g values with 0.- sjkji
