    I have just tried to use Virtual Topology and i could ignore some edges from the layup's partition, however the regions that had edges ignored lost its layup, so as it looks it's changing directly the partition itself.

    Thanks for your reply. I am using structured with reduced mesh transition, which is the the method that gave me the best results. I will take a look at virtual topology, however I would need to script this process, as I will be solving hundreds of problems like this.
