    There is a group of women completing the operation right now. They take too long, and are at times, inconsistent. Paint globs everywhere, uneven lines, mood swings, etc. Roller pin-striping has been used but is also inconsistent. It is often two or three cycles before one part is painted...

    Need a non-contact painting method

    Designing a mechanism to apply a thin layer of paint to round pieces of steel. Must be NON contact. Right now the best option seems like an airbrush or spray gun with a sheath to prevent over spray. Parts are not masked to keep cycle times down. There must be a better method out there...
