Contact pressure nxnastran advanced non linear

Hello all, does anyone happen to know whether contact pressure is supposed to show on both master and slave contacts in advanced non linear? It seems kind of bizarre that I can only show the contact pressure on one side of a contact. Contact force shows up fine on both. Anyone else found this...

    Stress at nodes/ element corners

I've managed to find what I was after, I needed to select Nodal under Contour options, then the stress is given in the Entity info pane when a node is selected. Why it couldn't just give this data anyway seems odd. Another thing I don't quite understand is if, as is the case here, the solver...

    Stress at nodes/ element corners

Good day all, having a little trouble here. I want to view the stress at some nodes. Currently I can select an element and the stress values at each of the elements corners is listed but working out which corner is which is quite troublesome. When I select a node it only gives me the...

    Merge two straight lines

Thank you Blas, that video is very useful. I shall make more use of the meshing toolbox from now on.

    Merge two straight lines

It was meshing a solid and using 'size along curve'. In the end I used Geometry>Solid>cleanup.. and then re-did the curves that I wanted to be there. Thanks for trying though, it seems odd that something so simple should be so difficult. I find a lot of femap is like that.

    Merge two straight lines

Well I thought i had it there, Modify>edit>point.. then moved the point that joined the lines so that one curve shrank to nothing, but sadly the mesh control still controls the curve as if it was the original length and now I can't use mesh control on the area of the line that used to be the...

    Merge two straight lines

Thanks, I should have said the lines are the edge of a solid, so making a new line doesn't much help unless it can somehow replace the original two? The reason is to make the meshing better and easier.

    Merge two straight lines

This seems like such a simple thing to do but I can't seem to find it. Basically I want to do the opposite of break. If I used break on a line, how would I 'un-break' them. Sorry if this is stupid, hope someone can help.
