In the simulation program ARIEL, the graphs show that as I increase the suction pressure, the compression load on the piston rod increaases. The cylinders are single-acting. Can anyone tell me why?
I think that in this case, the force exerted on the cylinder head is given by the clearance...
pmover,
thanks for help , but when I do the simulations in the ARIEL program, the reports show a rod load for "compression" in the cylinders of simple action, but with values small. why is are cylinders of simple action?
pmover,
thanks you for the information, and yes, in the "help" menu includes the explanation about rod load for compression and tension, my question is about Rod load "TOTAL", they say that it is a sum between compression and tension ,but not algebraic, then how is this sum?
hello, I would like to know how ARIEL is carried out and takes into account to estimate the road load total en the cylinders of simple and double action...??
I´ll appreciate your help !!
Hi friends, at the moment several of the compressors reciprocating, the suction valves were extracted on the head cylinder, and according to be carried out studies the road load compression increases to more suction pressure, I would like to know why?, if they are cylinders of simple action
