Lenght of Time to do a pressure test?
One thing to consider is ambient temperature especially outdoors in the sun. Filling a spool with cool ground water and applying pressure before the spool has a chance to equalize with the ambient temperature will result in overshooting your test pressure. Stress Corrosion Cracking Question?
I am looking at pictures of a 60 barrel fermenter for a friend. What I am seeing is what looks to be stress corrosion cracks at the weld seams on the external jacket of the vessel. They seem to have started from corrosion pitting. The jacket is non-structural. My question is... Can these...- dmfa200
