I'm new with ABAQUS and i need to do a simulation on shot peening to find the best parameters in order to improve the fatigue life of aluminium.
Problem is i have no idea how to simulate it. I know how to draw the specimen in abaqus but how do I make them collide.
And, how to...
In order to do a shot peening process using ANSYS, should i use explicit dynamics solver or the ANSYS LS-DYNA solver..Some ppl i ask they say use the 1st one and the others tell me to use the other..Which sholud i use..damn confused and i'm very very new in ANSYS..lIKE SUPER BEGINEER
i'm an doing a research on shot peening using ANSYS.. I have never previously used ANSYS, so i was wandering how to do this process using ANSYS. I'm very new to ANSYS so step by step instructions will be best..please help..thank you
