Does ProE offer a 2d layout software?

You know, something like AutoCAD or Draftsight? Someone suggested Othena Pro (or something like that), but I haven't been able to find any info on it. We are using Wildfire 2.0. TIA

How to make a sketch show in a detail drawing?

I'd like to show a sketch used to create a round protrusion cut as a centerline on the detail drawing. The centerline is needed to convey what the shown sketch dimensions are dimensioning. In some 3D software, this is a simple "project" command, but I cannot find a similar command anywhere in...

What causes Pro/E WF2 to exit/crash when editing sketch dimensions?

This is a fairly common occurence among users at this location. When it happens, you lose everything up to the last save. The problem normally occurs after re-entering a sketch to modify sketch dimensions. Double-clicking on a dimension may or may not result in an immediate exit. It is...

Is there a command which turns on datum curve recognition?

I've inherited a model that has several swept blends, defined by cylindrical equations. However, when I try to add additional datum curves, or try to redefine the trajectory of existing swept blends, Pro/E acts like these curves cannot be selected. To waste more time, I started a separate file...

Can SW convert Pro/E model and detail drawing?

If so, will edit of the detail dimensions still drive changes to the model?

How to relate parametric dimensions from one sketch to another?

In most 3D cad packages, this is easily accomplished by clicking the dimension from the previous sketch (as shown on the model) when editing the dimensions of the new sketch. Does anyone know how to do this in Pro/E?
